Kara and her family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support this week.
In Kara’s own words:
“What can I say?! All I can say is thank you for every whispered thought or prayer, and for every message delivered to me from far and wide during my waking moments. They helped build a scaffold around me whilst I was busy trying to fight through it.
“I can’t tell you now much of a difference every single message made to me. I wish I could respond individually but I know I can’t, but please do be assured how much you made a difference.”
Since the last update, Kara has remained stable and has improved slightly. She remains very unwell and is still fighting several infections, but things are markedly better than they were a week ago. She continues to amaze us all with her inner strength and determination.
Thanks to your support, Kara’s album, It’s Still M.E, re-entered the Amazon top 20 this week. Her fund is also edging closer to £5,000. (This is in addition to the amount raised from album sales, which we don’t know yet.)
