We’ve been rather quiet here of late, and thought it was time for an update.
Unfortunately Kara remains in hospital, where she has been almost continuously since September. Although significantly better than during her serious crisis last month, she continues to face numerous issues, including severe infections. She longs to be back home for Christmas, but it’s not yet clear whether this will be possible.
On the subject of Christmas, remember that Kara’s album is now available on CD (full details here) and would make a great gift for family and friends. It’s also possible to gift the album (in digital format) in the iTunes Store. The album makes a wonderful gift in its own right, while also raising awareness and funds for research into the severest cases of ME.
A few months ago Kara had the opportunity to talk to the legendary Dolly Parton, as part of a special BBC radio programme. This should also be aired over the Christmas period. We can’t wait to hear it, and will give you more details when we know them.
