What an amazing week this has been! My album, It’s Still M.E, was released on Saturday. That in itself is something I never thought I’d be able to say. But thanks to all of your incredible support, the album has been riding high in the charts all week.
For most of the week I’ve been the number one album on Amazon, outselling top acts such as Taylor Swift.
I’ve also been the number one singer songwriter on iTunes for a lot of the time.
And I’ve consistently been in the top 20 or 30 in the iTunes chart for all albums and all genres.
I’ve also been in the news several times – do head over to my Media page to have a look at some of the coverage.
This is all beyond anything I dared dream. Thank you so much for your support, without which I would never have reached this point.
But I have something to ask of you. If you haven’t yet bought my album, please, please consider doing so today. My absolute dream is for It’s Still M.E to get into the official album chart, which comes out tomorrow. My success in the iTunes and Amazon charts in no way guarantees a place in the official chart, so I’m asking everyone to give a final big push today. Every sale counts.
Just think of the awareness we could raise if the album was in the charts. It would bring the reality of severe ME to a much wider audience, while generating funds for vital research. Remember that all proceeds go towards establishing a post-mortem facility for research into the severest cases of ME. I’m aiming to raise £100,000.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has bought my album and helped spread the word about it. And if you were planning to buy it but haven’t got round to it yet, today it the perfect time to do so. Please, please tell everyone you know about it and help us achieve something truly amazing for everyone with ME. Purchase the album here.
Thank you so much.
